Jio Phone and Jio Phone 2 will also support Voice over Wi-Fi service in India. This service is mainly for remote areas where the network is usually weak. After support in the JIO Phone model, Reliance Jio will be able to provide this facility to more mobile phone users in the country.

Apart from this Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone are also planning to launch their VoWi-Fi service in India.
