St. Francis Church:
St. Francis Church is located in Kathibari in Godda district. This holy church was established in 1973 under the leadership of Father Benvenute and was blessed on 27th April 1977.
Yogini Maa Mandir:
Yogini Maa Mandir is also known as Yogini Dham. It is situated in Pathargama. It is believed that Goddess Sati’s body part had fallen at this place, that’s why it is famous as major Sati peeth. This holy temple surrounded by hills. There is a small cave where the goddess exists. If you complete 400 stairs then you will reach to Yogini Maa Mandir. Devotees entire into the cave to complete their worship and see the beautiful idol. The way of the temple is very difficult but devotees easily handle this situation. They believe that Goddess always with her devotees and she saves her all children’s. Pleasant weather of this place always attracts tourists. This place has a small market, which situated beside the road. Now the government of Jharkhand take the responsibility to manage the way of this temple and a ropeway to get on the hill is being constructed.
St. Theresa’s Church:
St. Theresa’s Church is situated at Kusumba in Godda district. This holy church is dedicated to St. Theresa. The idol of child Jesus another attraction for every tourist. The church was built in 1997 by Father Lucas.
