Massanjore Dam:

Massanjore Dam or Canada Dam is 34 meters high and 609.6 meters long. In the year of 1955, this Dam was constructed for the motive to generate hydroelectric power. It is constructed across the Mayurakshi River and it serves water around 50,000 acres of agricultural land for irrigation. This huge dam surrounded by forest and hills. This site considered as the most popular spot in Dumka district.

Baba Basukinath Dham:

Baba Basukinath Dham is situated on Deoghar-Dumka State Highway. This temple is dedicated to Baba Basukinath, which is another popular name of Lord Shiva. During The time of Maha Shivratri festival, this temple collects a huge number of devotees.

Kumrabad:

Kumrabad is located on the banks of River Mayurakshi. It is situated at a distance of 12 kilometres from the city centre of Dumka district. Mainly tourists gather here to celebrate a picnic, that’s why it is known as an ideal picnic spot.

Tatloi is famous for the natural hot water spring. The hot water spring surrounded by mountains. It is located at a distance of 15 kilometres from Dumka city centre.
