Thakurani hill:
Thakurani hill is situated at a distance of 70 kilometres from the city centre of Keonjhar district. It is located beside a perennial spring. This site is also famous for the temple of Murga Mahadev. The temple is well known for its cascading waterfall. The scenic beauty of this place always attracts a large number of devotees.
Gonasika:
Gonasika is a famous pilgrim centre in Keonjhar. It is surrounded by a series of valleys and wooded hills of varying colours. Brahmeswar Mahadev is the main attraction of this site. There is a river which goes underground and known as Guptaganga. Guptaganga is another popular attraction of this site.
Sanaghagara Waterfall:
The Sanaghagara Waterfall is located very close to the NH-6 in Keonjhor district. The waterfall is falling down from a height of 30.5 metres (100 ft.). The breath-taking waterfall is spread over an area of 488 hectares. The waterfall is surrounded by various types of forest vegetation. This site is popular for trekking and camping. Bhimkund is a beautiful natural water reservoir. It is built over the river Baitarani. It is located exactly on the borderline between the district Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj. The dam is two-storeyed which resulted in the formation of two waterfalls one above another.
This reservoir is situated at a distance of 100 kilometres from Keonjhar District. According to the mythology, it is believed that the second Pandava Bheema had taken bath in this reservoir and hence it was named after him. During the time of Makar Sankranti festival in the month of January thousands of devotees gather here to take their holy dip.
Badaghagara:
Badaghagara is located at a distance of 9 kilometres from the city centre of Keonjhar district. It is famous for a small breathtaking waterfall. The waterfall is falling down from a height of 50 feet. This site is also popular as an ideal picnic spot.
Gundichaghai Waterfall:
The Gundichaghai Waterfall is a famous waterfall in Keonjhar district. The waterfall is falling down from 50 feet height and falls into the Mudala River.
Sitabinj:

This site is popular for an ancient fresco painting on a rock shelter, known as Ravan Chaya. This feature looks like a half opened umbrella. The painting depicts a royal procession.
