Buxa National park is situated in Jalpaiguri District and it is one of the great tourist destination of West Bengal. This national park also famous as tiger reserve forest in West Bengal. This National Park covered 760 square kilometers area. There are different types of flora and fauna (More than 450 species) present in this forest. The main species in this forest are including Tiger, Asian elephant, gaur, wild boar, sambar and the main trees are sal, champa, gamar, simul etc.

Gorumara National Park is situated at the foothills of the Himalayas in the Dooars Region. It is known as one of the most famous tourist destination of Jalpaiguri District. This spot is the prime attraction for tourist because of its nature walks and wildlife gazing. Once Gorumara was a reserve forest after the year 1949 it was declared a National park. This park is famous as a preserver of Indian rhinoceroses.

This holy temple was built by Jalpesh who was the last successor of king Baghadatta in 800 AD.
