Kauleshwari Devi Temple:

Kauleshwari Devi Temple is located on the top of the Kolhua hill in Chatra district. This temple is dedicated to goddess Kalueshwari Devi. It is believed that this temple was built by the Jains and it’s also famous for the birthplace of Sitala Swami, who was the 10th Jain Tirthankara. There is a small cave situated beside the temple. Inside the cave, there is an interesting image of Parsarvanath, who was the 23rd Jain Tirthankara. Dhyani Mudra image of Parsarvanath and scenic view of this place attract every tourist.

Kunda Cave:

Once upon a time, Kunda cave was a part of Old Kunda Palace but now it is situated alone as a ruins cave. It is located at a distance about 4 miles from the Kunda village in Chatra district. The Palace was built in the 18th century. If you come to visit this place then you will see the beautiful architecture of this ruins fort and you also see the whole palace. Inside the cave, visitors can also see a big idol of Lord Shiva. Mahashivratri is the main festival of this site. During this time thousands of devotees come here to celebrate this festival.

Bhaduli (Bhadrakali):

Bhadrakali temple of Chatra

Bhaduli or Bhadrakali is situated at a distance of 35 kilometres from Chatra town near Bhadrakali complex. The temple of Mata Kali is located on the banks of the River Mahanadi and it is surrounded by the forests. There is also a water reservoir beside the temple, which is known as the holy reservoir. Devotees come here to take a holy dip in this reservoir and complete their prayer.

Kolhua Hill:

Kolhua Hill is located at an altitude of 1575 feet. This hill is famous for various architectures, natural beauty and temples. Most interesting festival of the hill area is Kolhua Fair, which is popularly known as Kolhua Mela. Kolhua Mela is religious fair, which is held twice a year. Tracing facilities is also available here.

Bichkiliya:

Bichkiliya is a beautiful lake located on the banks of Lilangen River. This lake is covered a huge area of this district. Amazing nature of this lake attracts huge numbers of visitors. This place is also famous as a picnic spot.

Tamasin Fall:

Tamasin Fall

Tamasin Waterfall is one of the famous attraction of Chatra district. Panoramic view of this place attracts a huge number of visitors. It is located at a distance of 26 kilometres from Chatra city centre.

Duari:

Duari is an interesting destination of Chatra district. This site is popular for the hot water spring, which is situated Balabal village. It is believed that in the water of this hot spring has some medicinal properties, which can easily remove all skin diseases. During the time of Makar Sankranti every year, thousands of visitors gather here to take a holy dip in the water to free themselves from skin diseases.

Khaya Banaroo:

Khaya Banaroo is an ideal picnic spot. It is located at a distance of 10 kilometres from Chatra town. Keridah waterfall is another attraction of this site. It is situated very close to Khaya Banaroo.

Maloodah Waterfall:

Maloodah is another important waterfall of Chatra district. It is situated at a distance of 8 kilometres from Chatra town and it is falling down from a height of 50 feet.

Barura Sharif:

Barura Sharif is a temple of data Amir Ali Shah. It is situated at a distance of 12 kilometres from Pratappur village. Visitors have to cross seven small rivulets, also known as Saat Bahini for reaching Barura Sharif.

Gogri waterfall, Dumer Sumer waterfall, Jain & Buddhist Relics these all are the other attractions of Chatra district.
