So many hills are situated in Purulia District, Joychandi Pahar is one of them. Joychandi Pahar is basically known as a couple Hills and which is famous as a tourist destination. Joychandi Pahar is located in Raghunathpur very close to the Purulia – Barakar road. There is a temple of goddess Chandi on the top of the hill. Joychandi Pahar is known as a very good place for shoot sunset. This place is very popular because famous Bengali Movies director Satyajit Ray did shooting here. Climbing and trekking facilities also available here. During December a big fair is arranged by the local people of this area and many peoples come to join this fair.
Saheb Bandh:

Saheb Bandh is a nice and a big lake at the heart of Purulia town. It is covered 50 acres area of Purulia District. It is said this water body was dug by convicts, at the instigation of Colonel Tikley, during the British Raj. This big lake started in the year 1843 and it was completed in 1849. In winter season various types of Migratory birds are coming here. So if you want to see this beautiful view of this lake then you must come in October to December month. During the migratory season, birds fly from Baluchistan, Siberia and several places in Europe, to this place.
Cheliama:

Cheliama village is famous for terracotta temples. This all beautiful temples made from the locally available laterite stones. The unique structure of Radha-Govinda temple is also an attraction for many tourists. This holy temple is present from 17 Th century.

Para is a wonderful tourist destination or a beautiful village, which remind you of the advent of Muslims to the east. Here Two Pre- Muslim Deuls is present from the ancient period- while one is related to the temple in deulghat and another one belongs to latter period. Both of them prove to be an excellent example of the grand architecture and fine cravings employed in the yesteryears. The heritage building of this area is the different attraction for tourist.
