At first go to Dashboard> Template > Edit HTML.
Now find the following code by pressing CTRL + F.

If you have found the above code, then replace with the following code. You can also add any HTML code or banner code or affiliated banner code instead of banner code.
Replace with the following code:
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "index"'><b:if cond='data:post.isFirstPost'><div id='ads1stpost'><center>Your Advertisement Code Here</center></div></b:if></b:if>
Remember, you must have to save the HTML Template of your Blogspot site after inserting the advertisement code.
Now visit your site, I think it will display the advertisement after two posts.
