Bethuadahari Wildlife Sanctuary:

Location: Bethuadeahari, Nadia (West Bengal)

Distance: 137 km from Kolkata

Total Area: 67 Hectares

Established: 1980

Bethuadahari Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in Bethuadahari of Nadia District. The Sanctuary is located beside National highway (NH 34). This Reserve Forest 137 km Away from Kolkata. Actually, this forest was established to preserve the bio-diversity. This forest is also known as Deer park. So many types of species are found in this Sanctuary. Major Floras in this Sanctuary are Sal, Arjun, Sisoo, Khair etc and Major faunas are Spotted Deer, Jackal, Fox, Common Langur, Indian Cuckoo, barbets, Nilgai, various types of birds, Large Pythons etc. This all species make this Sanctuary very thrilling.

Iskcon Temple:

Location: Mayapur, Nadia (West Bengal)

Distance: 125 km from Kolkata (approximate)

Mayapur is a very famous for Iskcon Temple, it is situated 40 km away from Krishnanagar city and it is very close to Nabadwip. Iskcon Temple is the major attraction of Nadia district and a huge number of visitors came every day to visit this place. This temple is the one of largest temple basis of its height.  Mayapur is the meeting point of Ganga and Jalangi River. Most of the temple of Mayapur are dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha. The main festival of this Iskcon is holi and Rashyatra.

Krishnanagar Rajbari:

Location: Krishnanagar, Nadia (West Bengal)

Distance: 112 km from Kolkata (approximate)

Krishnanagar Rajbari is a popular destination of Nadia District. This unique Rajbari was built by Raja Krishna Chandra. A beautiful Durga temple is situated inside the Rajbari and it is also an attraction of this Rajbari. March, April, august in this three months a huge number of people come here to celebrate different festivals, like Holi, Rath Yatra, Durga Puja, Jagadhatri Puja etc.

Botanical Garden is a beautiful garden situated beside NH 34 of Nadia District. A huge number of collection plants are present in this Botanical Garden. It is one of the oldest Botanical Garden in West Bengal.

Shree Shree Siddheswari Kalimandir:

Shree Shree Siddheswari Kalimandir is one of the holy temples of Nadia District. Shree Shree Siddheswari Kalimandir is the temple of Mata Kali or Mata Chandi. It is made by Precious stones and rocks. This temple is famous for its unique structure and excellent models.

Roman Catholic Church is situated in Krishnanagar of Nadia District. It is one of the important tourist spots and it is popular for its grand Architecture. Very peaceful place locate near Krishnanagar Govt. College. This church was built by the Italian artist. This church is very well maintained and make this place beautiful. This holy place totally made by marble and very well decoration.

Ghurni:

Ghurni is a beautiful village in krishnanagar of Nadia district. Ghurni is famous for the production of clay dolls. It is also popularly known as Krishnanagar clay dolls. The clay dolls production was popularized by Maharaja Krishnachandra.

Plassey Monument:

Plassey is a very famous place for its historical significance. It is situated Nadia district, approximately 150 km away from Kolkata. When we heard the name Plassey then at first comes in our mind Plassey battle. The Battle of Plassey was started on 23rd June in 1757 between the last independent ruler of Bengal Nawab (Siraj-Ud-Daula) and the British forces under the command of Lord Robert Clive. Now so many history lovers come to find out this Monument.

Shantipur:

Location: Shantipur, Nadia (West Bengal)

Shantipur is a city of Nadia district. It is situated very near from Krishnanagar. The Daak-Ghar (Post Office) is the main fort of this area and it was built by Maharaja Krishnachandra. During the 9th century Shantipur famous as a learning center. In this place, so many peoples come to learning Vedic and Sanskrit Literature. Fulia is a township, very close to Shantipur is the birthplace of poet Krittibas, who composed of Bengali Ramayana. Shantipur and Fulia Township also famous for Bengal handloom saree weaving centers.

Nabadwip:

Location: Nabadwip, Nadia (West Bengal)

Nabadwip is situated on the banks of Bhagirathi River and it is 15 km away from Krishnanagar city. Nabadwip was the birthplace of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. During the 15th century, Sri Chaitanya or Saint lived in this place. This place is the main prime center of vaishnav culture in West Bengal. The ancient times this place is known as famous Sanskrit literature study center. The total area of Nabadwip is covered by many temples. Sonargouranga temple is popularly known as Nabadwip temple and it has a golden statue of Sri Chaitanaya. Holi, Rashyatra, Mahaprabhu’s birthday, this all are famous festivals in this place.
