Tiger Hill:

Tiger Hill (2590 m) is situated in Darjeeling District and it just 11 kilometers away from Darjeeling town. Tiger Hill is the prime attraction in all over India.  It has a Scenic view of golden Kanchenjunga. It is a beautiful point to capture the sunrise. Autumn and spring this two season is the best time to view the perfect sunrise. After the sunrise, Kanchenjunga range color changes from white to orange and it reflects the other side. This natural view totally depends on the climatic condition or weather of the spot.

Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park:

Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park is situated in Darjeeling District. It also is known as Darjeeling Zoo. The total area of this Zoological Park is 57.56 acres. Darjeeling Zoo was established in 1958 and it is the heights altitude zoo in India. This place is the attraction of animals and nature lovers. The zoo is popularly known for its breeding and conservation program. This zoo is famous as a preserver of the snow leopard, Himalayan wolf, and red panda. The zoological park is beautifully maintained the ecological balance of Eastern Himalayan region. Various types of animals are present in this zoo includes black bear, barking deer, leopards, blue and yellow Macaw, Eastern Pangolin, Pheasant, Himalayan Monal, Himalayan Wolf, Lady Amherst, Leopard Cat, Macaw, Red Jungle Fowl, Red Panda, Royal Bengal Tiger, Sambar Deer, Temminck’s Tragopan, Yak and more.

Batasia Loop:

The Batasia Loop is a spiral railway in Darjeeling District.  It is created because of the decrease the elevation of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway I West Bengal. Batasia Loop is an excellent point with some breath-taking views around. There is also a memorable memory of Gurkha soldiers of Indian Army who sacrificed their lives away during the time of Independence for the country. It is a station or a stoppage of Toy train. If you come to this point then you can see the beautiful view of Kanchenjunga peak. This station also covered with a beautiful flower garden.

Darjeeling Himalayan Railway:

Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is a narrow gauge railway between New Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling in West Bengal. This Railway is famous for Toy Train. This railway route was constructed by British in 1879 to 1881. In the year 1999 Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Toy train ride is a beautiful adventure and also an attraction for every tourist. It’s very energetic and charming, so don’t miss the short ride.

Mirik:

Mirik has been always one of the most enchanting tourist destination in Darjeeling District. Mirik is situated in the middle point between NJP and Siliguri.  It is most popular spot because of its beautiful nature and climate. Sumendu Lake is the prime attraction of Mirik, which is covered with a beautiful garden in the Himalayan region. Boating facilities also available in this lake.

Roy Villa:

Roy Villa is situated at Lebong Cart Road in Darjeeling District. It is a four storied building and most attraction for the tourist. The Roy Villa is very old and this villa’s structure like European castle. Roy Vila holds a special importance of rich cultural tradition. Once Sister Nivedita (great disciple of Swami Vivekananda) lived in Roy villa and she died on 13 October 1911 in this heritage house.

Ghum Monastery:

Ghum Monastery is located at an elevation of 8,000 feet in Darjeeling District. This Monastery is also known its popular name Yiga Choeling Monastery. There are 15 feet high statue of Buddha in this monastery. Ghum Monastery is the largest Buddhist Monastery in India and it was constructed by Lama Sherab Gyatso in 1875.

Rangeet Valley Passenger Ropeway:

Rangeet Valley Passenger Ropeway is one of the best adventurers spots in Darjeeling District. If you taking a ride on the ropeway then you see the scenic views of whole Darjeeling and you gather some beautiful experience. The ropeway ride facilities were started in 1968 but it was stopped in October 2003 after four tourists died. They died because when the cable snapped causing two cars to plummet down the hill. So after this incident, the ropeway facilities was stopped for 9 years but now it is open for all adventure lovers. The Ropeway was reopened on 2 February 2012.

Tenzing Rock:

Tenzing is an ideal and natural rock named after the Tenzing Norgay. It is situated at Lebong cart road in Darjeeling.  Tenzing Norgay was the first person who creates a history by climbing the Mount Everest in 1953. This rock is mainly used for practicing climbing. The gombu rock is situated on the opposite side of Tenzing Rock. Here, tourist has the opportunity of climbing a mountain with the help of the trainer.

Bengal Natural History Museum:

Bengal Natural History Museum is the heart of the Darjeeling. This beautiful museum is located on the chow-Rasta mall and it was established in 1903. Bengal Natural History Museum is a small museum in the botanical garden of Darjeeling.  When the museum was started only butterflies and birds are here but now the museum has a huge collection of various types of birds, flora and faunas. This museum is divided into two section one is the bird’s section and another one is animal section. This museum is a famous Skeleton preserver of the unique birds and animals.

Shrubbery Nightingale Park:

Shrubbery Nightingale Park is a public park in Darjeeling District. A statue of lord Shiva is situated in the middle of this park. This beautiful park is covered by pine trees. Here, every day 2 to 4 p.m. a cultural program is organized by the park committee. Many beautiful features are present in this park but the breath-taking views of Kangchendzonga always changing the atmosphere, that’s why it is known as prime attraction of every tourist.

Lloyd’s Botanical Garden:

Lloyd’s Botanical Garden is a beautiful Botanical Garden of hill area in Darjeeling District. The land of this garden was provided by William Lloyd, that’s why the name of this botanical garden is Lloyd’s Botanical Garden. The total area of this garden is 40 acres and it was established in 1878. This botanical garden also knew its popular name Darjeeling Botanical garden. Mainly the garden is famous for the orchid house. If you come to this place then you will find some of the most beautiful orchids in the world.  This place is famous for cactus vegetation and preserves of several species also.

Himalayan Tibet Museum:

Himalayan Tibet Museum is a great cultural museum in Darjeeling District. It is situated at 12 Gandhi road, near Bethany School.  This museum is a unit of Manjushree center of Tibetan culture, opening under the MCTC management. All kind of special collection is present in this museum, with a good explanation. Scale models of the Himalaya range, explanation about Tibetan medicine, remarkable stories, beautiful pieces of arts, this all features are the main attraction for the tourist. The museum will remain open for all from 10 am to 5 pm in summer and 10 am to 4 pm in winter.

St. Andrews Church:

St Andrews Church is situated in Darjeeling District. It is one of the important tourist spots and it is popular for its grand Architecture. It is Very peaceful place locate near Mall road. This church was built by the NRI artist. This church is very well maintained and make this place beautiful. This holy place totally made by marble and very well decoration.

Ghum Railway Station:

Ghum is the highest Railway station in India. It is considered as a beautiful tourist destination in Darjeeling. It is situated near batasia loop at an altitude of 2,258 meters. This hilarious station of the Himalayan range was built in 1881. This station is the end point of Toy train suffering.  If you come to this point then you can see the beautiful view of Kanchenjunga peak.

Sandakphu:

Sandakphu is a prime attraction of adventure lovers. This is the highest point of the Singalila Range in Darjeeling District, West Bengal.  It is situated on the West Bengal and Nepal border. The trek along the Singalila Ridge to Sandakphu and Phalut is one of the most popular ones in the Eastern Himalayas due to the grand vistas of the Kangchenjunga range and the Everest range which can be seen from the ridge, and also for the seasonal wildflower blooms and birding.

Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda:

The two storied white Japanese temple building was constructed in a traditional Japanese style in the year 1972. Japanese temple is situated in Darjeeling District and just 10 minutes away from Darjeeling town center.  This temple is also known as the Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist Temple.

Peace Pagoda is very close to the Japanese Temple and it demonstrates four avatars of Lord Buddha. If you come to this peaceful temple then you can listen the bell sound everywhere. From the top of the Pagoda, you get a scenic view of Darjeeling landscape.

Dali Monastery:

Dali Monastery is one of the biggest monasteries in Darjeeling District. It is situated 4 kilometers away from Darjeeling town. This monastery popular as Dali Monastery but its real name is Druk Sangag Choling Monastery. The Dali Monastery was originally built at the time of Kyabje Thuksey Rinpoche in 1971. The monastery is known as a famous preserver of old culture and tradition of the Tibetan monks. The best time to visit Dali Monastery is either morning or in the evening, because this two time the prayers and chanting take place.
