Ramkeli:

Ramkeli is a small village in Malda district. It is 14 km away from Malda town. Ramkeli is famous as a mediation site of Sri Chaityana Mahaprabhu. The main feature of this place is tamal tree. A small temple built under this tamal tree enshrines sri Chaitanaya Mahaprabhu’s footprints on stone. The main festival of this site is Jaishthya Sankranti.

Gour:

Gour is located near about 16 kilometers from Malda town. There are so many beautiful historical places such as Dakhil Darwaja, Firoz Minar, Chamkati Masjid or Chika Mosque, Gumti Darwaza, Baroduari Mosque or Boro sona Mosque, Kadam Rasul Mosque, Luko Churi Gate, Lattan Mosque etc.
Dakhil Darwaza:
Dakhil Darwaza is one of the most beautiful monuments is Gour of Malda district. Dakhil Darwaja also known as Salami Darwaja. Dakhil Darwaja is an impressive gateway or entrance to the fort of Gour. This gateway was made by the beautiful terracotta structure.

Firoz Minar:
Firoz Minar is situated near Dakhil Darwaja. Firoz Minar is a five storey tower like as Qutub Minar. This Tomb was constructed by Sultan Saifuddin Feroze Shah in the year 1948-1949. This Firoz Minar is also known as the Pir-Asha-Minar or the Charagdhani or Qutub Minar of Malda.
Chamkati Masjid or Chika Mosque:
So many historical places are located in Malda district, Chamkati Masjid one of them. This beautiful Mosque was built by Sultan Yusuf in the year 1475. This Mosque also famous for its unique name Chika Mosque. So many numbers of Chikas or bats are founding here that’s why it is known as Chika Mosque.

Gumti Darwaza:
Gumti Darwaza is one of the most elegant and beautiful monuments of Gour. Gour is situated near Chika Mosque. It was constructed by Sultan Allauddin Hussein Shah in 1512. This historical place was made of red bricks and terracotta. Once upon a time, it is believed that real gold was used in the decoration of the mosque.

Baroduari Mosque or Boro sona Mosque:
Murshidabad’s Hazarduari palace known as Hazarduari because of its thousand doors and here this Baroduari Mosque is famous for the same reason of its beautiful twelve doors. This beautiful Mosque started by Allauddin Hussein Shah and was completed by his son Nasiruddin Nusrat Shah in the year 1526. The main attraction of this mosque is Indo – Arabic style of architecture.

Kadam Rasul Mosque:
Kadam Rasul Mosque was constructed by Sultan Nashiruddin Shah in the year 1531. The important features of this mosque are four black towers on its four corners. Opposite site of this mosque Fateh Khan’s tomb is situated in its own style.

Luko Churi Gate:
The original name of this Luko Churi Gate is “Shahi Darwaza”. It is situated on the southeast corner of the Kadam Rasul Mosque. Luko Churi Gate was built by Shah Shuja in the year 1655. Sultan using this gate for playing hide and seek with his beautiful begums. The inventive Mughal architectural style of this place is creating it an interesting place.
Lattan Mosque:
Lattan Mosque is located in Gour, 30 km away from the Malda town. This mosque is also known as Painted mosque, because of its once colorful demeanor. This mosque was built by Sultan Shamsuddin Yusuf Saha in 1475. This is a single domed building with a square chamber and there are three arched entrance on the mosque. This mosque was originally constructed with intricate work of various stone and colors.

Adina:

Adina is located at a distance of just 15 km from the north of Malda town. As like Gour Adina also famous as a historical importance. There are so many attractive and interesting places are found like as Adina deer park, Atbart Dighi, Adina Mosque etc.
Adina Deer Park:
Adina Deer Park is one of the most beautiful destinations of Malda district. It is located around 21 kilometers Malda town. The park is a generating center for cheetal or spotted deer. There are different types of birds are also exist in this park. Sometimes the breeding numbers of spotted deer overflowing. Spotted deer and Nilgai are the two most famous species are present here. Now, this park is maintained by Government of West Bengal.

Adina Mosque:
Location: Adina, Malda (W.B.)
Built By: Sikandar Saha (2nd sultan of Ilyas shahi dynasty)
Adina Mosque is situated in Adina of Malda district. Once upon a time, it was the largest mosque in India. This great mosque was built by Sikandar Saha in the 14th century. This attractive mosque was made by bricks designed with stone.

Jagjibanpur:
Jagjibanpur is an archaeological site and it is located at a distance of just 30 km from the district headquarter of Malda District. The most impotent finding of this site is copper plate. This copper plate was founded by the emperor Mahendrapaladeva. Excavation revealed a monastery of king Mahendra pala, several seals, sealing, huge terracotta plaque, the bronze image of mariachi and Buddha, beds and a huge amount of pottery.
Pandua:

Pandua iS also famous for Historical monuments. It is located near 18 km away from Malda Town. Their attraction is Eklakhi Mausoleum, Malda museum, Temple of Jauhra Kali etc.
Eklakhi Mausoleum:
Location: Pandua, Malda (W.B.)
Eklakhi Mausoleum is the tomb of sultan Jalaluddin Muhammad Shah and it was situated Near Adina Mosque. Eklakhi Mausoleum also known as Pandua house. This tomb made by bricks and terracotta. Here also an important attraction is Lord Ganesh Murti which is a symbol of Hindu religion.

Malda museum:
Malda museum is situated on the Bandh road of Malda district. Here you found in this site huge collection of historic artifacts. This house famous for ancient sculptures, porcelains, calligraphic inscription and terracotta items. Now this historical Museum is an important place of survey and research.

Temple of Jauhra Kali:
Location: Malda, West Bengal.
Built By: Raja Ballal Sen.
Open: Every Tuesday and Saturday.
Temple of Jauhra Kali is one of the beautiful temples of Malda district. This temple also is known as ‘Jauhra Kali bari’. This temple is situated very near to Bangladesh border and it surrounded by mango garden. The original temple of Mata kali was built by Raja Ballal Sen in the year 1159 – 1179 AD. The unique feature of this temple is the most attraction for the tourist.
